Iris Lau

Iris Lau is the current Compliance Manager at Dataiku. Prior to their current position, Iris worked as an Information Security Specialist - Client Risk and Engagement at Bloomberg LP from April 2019 to June 2021. In this role, Iris responded to information security risk assessments and privacy client due diligence and/or RFP/RFI questionnaires, responded to information security surveys from regulators, coordinated client vendor assessment on-site visits, worked with various teams to remediate findings and implement process improvements, assessed audit risk of complex internal controls and business processes, and provided guidance to the other teams with respect to security controls.

Before joining Bloomberg LP, Iris worked as a Lead, Information Technology Controls Specialist at S&P Global from April 2018 to April 2019. In this role, Iris led development and execution of IT and Information Security control assessments, reported on control issues and risk mitigation efforts, facilitated timely execution of regulatory, compliance, external audit and internal audit requests, deliverables, and remediation evidence, partnered with Technology leadership globally to identify and assess IT risks, develop risk mitigation procedures that strengthened IT controls, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements, and acted as a subject-matter expert with the development of IT policies and SOPs.
