Pierre-Jean Buffard

Pierre-Jean Buffard is a software engineer at Dataiku. Pierre-Jean previously worked as an expert technician at Onepoint for My Money Bank, where they helped to redesign the company's IT system by participating in the development of the future customer interface. Pierre-Jean's work included strong web constraints such as accessibility, responsiveness, and security, as well as cloud deployment with a DevOps approach. Pierre-Jean also oversaw the project teams and maintained production tools.

Before working at Onepoint, Pierre-Jean was an software architect/expert technician at Action Logement, where they were responsible for creating a transitional IT system that aggregated data from the 20 existing collecting organizations of the "1% Logement" program. Pierre-Jean's duties included conducting an architecture study that took into account BigData issues such as daily volumetrics, data lakes, and scalable applications, as well as writing DATs and REXs. Pierre-Jean also supervised and trained project teams, implemented CI pipelines and "as code" deployment, maintained production tools, and monitored the overall quality of the project. In addition to their technical responsibilities, Pierre-Jean also kept up with technological advancements and studied potential solutions such as API Management, BPMN, and Ansible.
