Spencer Englin

Spencer Englin is a Deal Desk Analyst at Dataiku. Prior to joining Dataiku, Spencer worked as a Financial Analyst at Exvere | Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory from January 2018 to December 2020. There, they were responsible for analyzing financial data, performing financial modeling and valuations using a variety of methodologies, drafting client presentations including pitch books, developing and drafting Confidential Information Memorandums and White Papers, researching potential target buyers and sellers, maintaining prospective buyer and seller contact database, and contributing to the transaction and due diligence process including organizing data room, Q&A sessions, seller/buyer meetings.

Before Exvere, Spencer interned as a Research Associate at PitchBook Data from May 2016 to August 2016, where they researched and created profiles on private and public equities, PE & VC backed companies, PE & VC funds, and investors for the PitchBook Platform. Spencer also conducted quality assurance on previously researched information and developed machine learning algorithm in cross-functional team.

Spencer began their professional career as an A/R Specialist Intern at Avalara from May 2015 to August 2015. Spencer also interned at Center for Infectious Disease Research as a BioQuest Academy Intern in July 2012.
