Jay Kumar

Jay Kumar is an experienced analytics consultant currently serving as an independent professional since February 2018 and holds a dual role as a data expert at DataKind since July 2015. Jay has a robust background in data science, having worked as the lead analytics and technology specialist at Pexitics from December 2016 to January 2018, and as a data scientist intern at Trendwise Analytics in early 2015. Previous experience includes project management roles at Independent Information Technology and Services Professional, Firium Solutions, and IBM India Private Limited, where Jay managed projects and architected solutions around IBM Lotus Technology. Jay began the career as a consultant with Lotus Professional Services in the late 1990s. Jay holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Power from Nagpur University.
