Aarthy Adityan

Aarthy Adityan's work experience begins in 2008 when they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Department of Ocean Engineering, IITM. They also served as an Intern at Mazagon Dock Limited India in 2009. In 2011, Aarthy worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Van Vliet Laboratory of Material Chemomechanics, MIT and as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Department of Ocean Engineering, IITM.

In 2014, Aarthy joined Cactus Communications as an Academic Editor. They then worked at Northeastern University as a Developer in 2016, where they developed an educational game and redesigned it as a multiplayer real-time experience.

From 2016 to 2018, Aarthy worked at Interactive Narrative & Knowledge Design as a Developer and Designer, where they led the development of flagship products and collaborated with the design team to create interactive experiences. They also managed product deployments and supported the marketing team with client-facing documentation.

In 2018, Aarthy joined DataKitchen as a Software Engineer. They progressed through various roles, including Software Engineer Lead, Principal Software Engineer, and currently serve as the Director of Engineering.

Aarthy Adityan completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in the year 2011. Aarthy then pursued a Master of Science (SM) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2014. Later on, from 2015 to 2017, they obtained a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) degree in Digital Media from Northeastern University.
