Lode Vlayen

Lode Vlayen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Lode started their career as the Vice General Manager at Drukkerij RO, CP, where they worked for nearly a decade.

Lode then joined Scitex as a Technical Sales Support Specialist, bringing their practical experience from the customer's perspective.

After that, Lode worked at Creo as a Product Marketing Manager before moving to Hiflex as the Director Benelux, responsible for sales and managing partners. Lode also served as the R&D Manager at Hiflex, overseeing application software design and development projects.

Lode joined KBA Complete as the Managing Director, providing advice and total solutions in workflow optimization and integration of end customers in the printing environment.

Lode then transitioned to VIGC, where they served in General Management, Sales, and Marketing roles for over five years.

Lode's most recent roles include positions as a Senior Business Development Specialist for Dataline Solutions, focusing on the DACH region, and as a Senior Business Development and Sales professional for CloudLab, covering Benelux and France.

Outside of their professional engagements, Lode also owns and operates LV Consulting Comm V, where they specialize in management consulting, particularly in the printing industry, with a focus on organization, people, production, and project management, as well as automation of administration and production flows.

Lode Vlayen's education history begins in 1966 when they enrolled at Sint-Jozefscollege. Lode studied Latin, physics, and mathematics at this institution until their graduation in 1978. In 1979, Lode Vlayen joined KU Leuven where they pursued a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Computer Science. Lode studied at KU Leuven for five years, completing their education at this institution in 1984.

After a break from formal education, Lode Vlayen engaged in self-study from 2004 to 2010. During this period, they focused on learning Visual Basic, PHP, and XML. Additionally, Lode Vlayen obtained several certifications related to web development.
