Daniel Kim has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2014, they worked as a Support Team Intern at DataLocker, where they provided support and assistance to the team. Later that year, they interned at VeriQuik as a Marketing and Solutions Team Intern, where they developed social media strategies, created a user-oriented website template, and contributed to a user acquisition plan presented at a startup conference. In 2018, Daniel founded Straws For Good and served as its Founder until 2020, developing and managing the organization. Daniel also worked as a Campaign Assistant for a US Senate campaign during the summer of 2018. In early 2020, they joined Growth Acceleration Services as a Business Development Specialist until October 2020. Currently, Daniel is working as an Inside Sales Manager at DataLocker.

Daniel Kim attended Blue Valley High School from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained their High School diploma. In 2015, they enrolled at Arizona State University and pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. Daniel successfully completed their degree in 2020. Alongside their studies at Arizona State University, Daniel also participated in a study abroad program in 2016 at Yonsei University, where they focused on Korean Language and Literature. In 2018, they briefly attended Draper University, specializing in Venture Capital/Startup, but did not complete a degree at that institution.
