Derek Eder

Derek Eder is the Founder and Partner of DataMade, a civic technology company in Chicago, and serves as President Emeritus and Board Member of Chi Hack Night, which focuses on civic engagement through technology. Eder co-founded Dedupe.io, a software platform for identifying similar records across databases, and Civic Exchange Chicago, which fosters collaboration among civic startups and non-profits to enhance democratic institutions. Previously, Eder co-founded Open City, aimed at improving government transparency through web applications, and worked as a web developer at Webitects.
