Catherine Webster

Catherine Webster is an experienced communications professional with a robust background in corporate affairs, public relations, and media management. Currently serving as the Communications Manager at Datamars since May 2021, Catherine previously managed the communications function for the Space Science Directorate at the South African National Space Agency from March 2012 to December 2020. Additional roles include Public Relations & Media Liaison at AfricaBio and a Project Manager position at the same organization, along with experience as a Sales and Marketing Consultant at Sage Life. Catherine possesses extensive expertise in various areas, including internal and external communications, crisis communications, media and public relations, design and branding, events management, social media and websites, marketing and advertising, as well as photography and videography. Educational qualifications include a degree in Public Relations and Communications from Stellenbosch University and IIE Varsity College, complemented by advanced training from Insite Education & Training and the University of South Africa.
