Marco Banfi

Marco Banfi has a diverse work experience in IT infrastructure and security. Marco'smost recent position was as the Global Head of IT Infrastructure & Security at Datamars, starting in April 2023. Before that, they worked as the Global IT Infrastructure & Security Manager at Bally from April 2020 to March 2023. Prior to these roles, Marco was an IT Infrastructure Architect at DXC Technology (LFR Technology SA) from July 2017 to March 2020. Marco also served as an Implementation & Network security engineer at JAB Holdings Ltd. (LLX Global Business Services SA) from May 2012 to June 2017. Marco has previous experience in service and network operations specialist roles at Fastweb, as well as a network & system administrator role at VoiSmart. Marco also completed compulsory military service at Comune di Milano. Early in their career, Marco worked as an IT Network consultant at Fastweb and a network & system administrator at IAB Broker assicurazioni srl.

Marco Banfi attended the Cisco Networking Academy in 2001-2002, where they completed a CCNA course in ICT. Marco also studied at Liceo Scientifico, where they obtained a GCE-A level in Science education. In addition, Marco obtained several certifications, including CCNA, CCNP from Cisco Networking Academy, and MCSE from Microsoft, between 2003 and 2006.
