Daniel Cheng

Daniel Cheng has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience design and data visualization. Daniel worked at Datameer from 2013 to present, starting as a Data Visualization Engineer and progressing to roles such as User Experience Design Engineer, Senior User Experience Designer, and currently holds the position of Lead User Experience Designer. Prior to this, they worked at Uncharted Software as a Visualization Developer from 2005 to 2013.

Daniel Cheng obtained a Master of Science degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Queen's University, from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Queen's University between 1998 and 2002. In addition to their formal degrees, Daniel also completed two additional certifications. In December 2014, they obtained a certification in "The Art of Data Visualization" from the NYU School of Professional Studies. Before that, in March 2013, they received a certification in "Data Analysis" from Coursera.
