Jonny Daenen

Jonny Daenen is a highly experienced data professional currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Dataminded since November 2021 and as a Guest Lecturer and Coach for the Postgraduate AI Business Architect program at PXL-NeXT. With a strong background in cloud technology, Jonny previously held multiple roles at Selligent Marketing Cloud, including Cloud Data Engineer, Data Scientist, and Tech Lead, where significant contributions were made to the development of a multi-tenant data platform and various data-driven features. As a Ph.D. Student and Teaching Assistant at Hasselt University, Jonny published five academic papers and developed an open-source Big Data query engine. Jonny has also been involved in coaching at CoderDojo since 2013 and has academic credentials including a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Hasselt University.
