Dani MacZynski

Dani Maczynski has a diverse work history, starting with their role as a Domain Expert at Dataminr in May 2018. Dani then became a Subject Matter Expert Manager and US & Canada Desk Lead before transitioning to a position as a Data Solutions Lead. In November 2020, Dani was promoted to Program Manager in Scaled Operations International and later became a Senior Program Manager in the same department.

Prior to joining Dataminr, Dani worked at the New York Daily News as a Photo Assignment Editor from June 2015 to May 2018. In this role, they were responsible for dispatching and organizing a team of photographers and reporters for breaking news events. Dani also edited and packaged breaking news stories for print and web circulation.

From March 2016 to June 2017, Dani worked as a Business Development Representative at PhotoShelter. During this time, they excelled at sales, sourcing over $400k in new business contracts and achieving 100% of their quota.

In 2013, Dani served as a Marketing Manager at Eventivist, LLC, where they played a pivotal role in content projects and networked business partnerships. Dani's contributions helped in bridging the gap between non-profit organizations and corporate sponsors on the online digital platform.

Dani Maczynski attended Parsons School of Design - The New School from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Journalism. In June 2021, they also obtained a certification in Agile Foundations from LinkedIn.
