Devon McCann

Devon McCann is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development within the public sector, currently serving as Director at Dataminr since November 2016 after progressing through roles including Associate Director and Senior Project Manager. Previously, Devon held key positions at USAID as a Senior Domain Expert and Investigative Analyst, focusing on extremism, rebel messaging, and complex fraud investigations related to Afghanistan. Additional experience includes serving as Executive Special Assistant to the Inspector General for the Army ROTC, where security clearance was obtained. Devon holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Security and Arabic Language and Literature from Georgetown University, complemented by a certificate in Arabic and North African Studies from Al Akhawayn University. Devon is also PMP certified.
