Holly Mitchell

Holly Mitchell is a software engineer with experience in companies such as Dataminr and Microsoft. At Dataminr, they started working in November 2021 as a software engineer. At Microsoft, they worked from May 2017 to October 2021 as a web developer on the SharePoint team, focusing on application performance. Prior to that, they were a software engineering intern at Microsoft in 2016, where they designed and built features for the newly released SharePoint development framework. Holly also has experience as an undergraduate teaching assistant at the University of Southern California, where they led computer science labs, graded assignments, and dealt with grading-related complaints. Additionally, they have interned at 10X People and FluentStream Technologies, where they worked on designing and building software systems and web portals. Lastly, they worked as a robotics research assistant at the University of Southern California, focusing on improving robot interaction through Python coding.

Holly Mitchell began their educational journey in 2010 by attending Mountain Vista High School, where they completed their secondary education. In 2012, they enrolled at the University of Southern California, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. Holly successfully completed this program in 2016. During their time at USC, in the same year, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science, also at the University of Southern California. Additionally, Holly briefly attended the University of Cape Town in 2015, where they studied Computer Science and received a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree.
