Luke U.

Luke U. began their work experience in 2012 as an Assistant Intelligence Officer for the British Army. Luke later took on the role of Officer Commanding 3 Division Intelligence Fusion Cell, where they led and managed a team of 12 individuals and provided decision-making support to the Commander of a 20,000-person Division. In 2015, Luke U. joined the UK Ministry of Defence as an Intelligence Officer. After three years, they transitioned to Dataminr in 2018, starting as a Senior Manager and eventually progressing to the positions of Associate Director, Director, and Senior Director, Global Lead of Operations.

Luke U. began their education journey in 2010 at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where they completed the Commissioning Course in Leadership and Management. Luke then attended the Defence School of Intelligence from 2011 to 2012. Following their time at the Defence School of Intelligence, Luke attended the University of Southampton, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.

In addition to their formal education, Luke U. has obtained various certifications. Luke obtained a Google Data Analytics Certificate from Coursera | Google in December 2021, and a Lean Six Sigma - Black Belt certification from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) in September 2020. Luke U. also holds a Certificate in Management and Leadership (Level 5) from the CHARTERED MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE and is a Certified Scrum Master accredited by the Scrum Alliance. Furthermore, they have achieved the Graduateship of Leadership and Management (Level 6) from City & Guilds and has received the Level 7 Award for Leadership and Management from THE INSTITUTE OF LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT. Luke U. has also obtained certifications in Management of Risk (MoR) - Certified Practitioner and PRINCE2 - Certified Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
