Roberto Mondini

Roberto Mondini has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and theoretical particle physics. Roberto is currently working at Dataminr as a Data Scientist II, with previous experience as a Data Scientist I at the same company. Prior to that, they were a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science, where they gained technical skills to build end-to-end data science products. During their time at Insight, they developed and deployed a web application for hotel managers to analyze hotel reviews and quantify the impact of negative reviews on room prices. Roberto also performed app analytics and built forecasting models to predict app growth.

Before their career in data science, Roberto worked at the University at Buffalo as a Teaching Assistant and later as a Doctoral Research Scientist in theoretical particle physics.
