Summer Marsh

Summer Marsh has a diverse range of work experience. In 2018, they worked as a Resident Assistant at University College Dublin, where they were responsible for assessing and responding to the needs of 800 students and conducting security patrols. From July to August 2019, they worked as an ESL Teacher at ATC Language Schools, preparing and executing lesson plans for English language students. In 2019, they also worked as a self-employed ESL Teacher, Copy Editor, and Translator, providing editing services and designing lesson plans. Since 2020, Summer has been working at Dataminr, starting as an Analyst, Editor and later transitioning to roles as Associate, Editor & Product Evangelist and Associate, Global Operations. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Associate, Global Operations at the company.

Summer Marsh has a diverse education background. From 2016 to 2019, they attended University College Dublin and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and Linguistics. Summer further pursued their studies at the University of Sussex from 2020 to 2022, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Corruption and Governance. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) from the International House Dublin in June 2019.

In terms of additional certifications, Summer Marsh completed several cybersecurity courses on LinkedIn, including "Ethics in the Age of Generative AI," "Cybersecurity Awareness: Cybersecurity Terminology," "Cybersecurity Awareness: Malware Explained," "Cybersecurity Awareness: Phishing Attacks," "Cybersecurity Foundations," and "The Cybersecurity Threat Landscape." Summer completed these courses throughout 2023. Summer also received training in "SELECT: The Neuroscience of Better Hiring" from the NeuroLeadership Institute in March 2023.
