Shawn Bechtol

Shawn Bechtol is a Sales Development Representative at dataPARC since February 2023, bringing extensive experience in fisheries biology and management. Previously, Shawn served as Fisheries Biologist II at Yakama Nation Fisheries from 2017 to 2022, managing Fisheries Technicians, conducting bio-sampling of salmon and steelhead, and overseeing database management. Earlier roles included Fisheries Biologist, focusing on the monitoring and evaluation of the Klickitat sub-basin fishery, and Fisheries Technician positions at WDFW and Yakama Nation Fisheries, where Shawn was involved in projects such as the Mid-Columbia Coho Restoration Project. Additionally, Shawn has experience in construction as a Finish Carpenter and retail management as the Fly Shop Manager at Yakima River Fly Shop, where responsibilities included sales, operations, and guiding. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences from Eastern Washington University.
