Mark Grujic has a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from Monash University. Mark has worked as a Graduate Geophysicist at Rio Tinto, focusing on airborne gravity gradiometer development. Mark later moved on to roles as a Project Geophysicist, Senior Geoscientist, and Director at Solve Geosolutions. Currently, Mark serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Datarock, where Mark leads computer-vision augmented products for the mining industry. Their expertise lies in data science, machine learning, and geophysical support for mineral exploration.
Datarock
Datarock began as a way to monetize underutilized drill core imagery. They created low-level artificial intelligence and emerging technologies on secure cloud infrastructure with the goal of influencing geological workflows. They establish a solid technical foundation and expand beyond mining and exploration into other industries such as civilengineering.
