Robert Evans

Robert Evans has a strong background in network engineering and system administration. Robert has worked as a Senior System Engineer at DataServ since 2013, where they assist with client system operations and has a good understanding of cloud technologies. Prior to that, Robert worked as a Network Engineer at JR Technologies from 1997 to 2018, where they managed and upgraded VMware vSphere environments and installed server environments. Robert also worked as a Network Engineer at Roetzel & Andress from 2011 to 2013, where they assisted with system operations and upgraded VMware vSphere environments. Additionally, Robert worked as a Network Administrator at 1 EDI Source, Inc. from 2009 to 2011, managing VMWare ESX hosts. Robert also gained experience as a Network Engineer at Robert Half Technology from 1998 to 2008, working on various projects for clients. Lastly, Robert served as a Network Engineer at Apple Growth Partners from 2005 to 2008, managing LAN and WAN connections and maintaining various network devices. Prior to attending college, Robert attended Fairless High School from 1984 to 1989. In addition to their formal education, Robert has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they earned the VMware vSphere 6.7 Foundations certification from VMware. In 2020, they obtained the Understanding of Cisco Cloud Fundamentals and Administration certification from Cisco, as well as the VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2020 certification from VMware. Most recently, in 2021, Robert became a Veeam Certified Engineer 2020 (VMCE 2020) from Veeam Software.
