Lorens Helmchen

Lorens Helmchen is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur currently serving as an Associate Professor at George Washington University since July 2015 and as Co-Founder and Owner of DataSplash since December 2019. DataSplash.com empowers users to load, explore, and share data seamlessly on any device without the need for software downloads or programming knowledge. Prior to their current roles, Lorens held positions as Associate Professor at George Mason University and Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, as well as a Visiting Fellow in Aging and Health Research at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago and several graduate-level studies in Economics, History, and Politics across prestigious institutions in Europe and Israel.
