Maya Makanjee

Maya Makanjee is an independent non-executive director at Datatec. Maya has previously held positions at Truworths, AIG, NOSA, and the FEM Education Foundation. From June 2012 to July 2016, they were the Chief Officer: Corporate Affairs and Director Vodacom (Pty) Ltd at Vodacom. Maya is also a non-executive director at Tiger Brands and was a non-executive board member at WWF from January 2006 to November 2015.

Maya Makanjee has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, a MBL from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Indian Dance - Bharatanatyam from the University of Mumbai. Maya also has a Programme for Executive Development from IMD.
