Andy Hansen is currently the Head of Emerging Products at DataTorque Ltd, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, they served as the People Lead at Flick Electric Co. from 2020 to 2025 and as a Technical Specialist at Provoke Solutions from 2015 to 2017. Andy began their academic career as a 200-Level Computer Science Demonstrator at the University of Otago, where they also earned a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computer Science, graduating with First Class honours. They completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the same institution prior to that. In addition to their professional pursuits, Andy occasionally blogs at their personal website.
