Andrew Lightner

Andrew Lightner is an Engineering Manager at Upside, where they currently lead a team of analytics and data engineers while guiding impactful technology initiatives. Previously, Lightner worked as a Contract Researcher and Statistical Analyst at the Overseas Development Institute, contributing to reports on Private Sector Development. They also served as a Data Research Analyst and Data Analyst at DevTech Systems, Inc., focusing on data maintenance for USAID, and were involved in building Upside’s data architecture as a Senior Analytics Engineer. Lightner holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Dayton.
