Eric Nelson

Eric Nelson is an experienced professional in data science and analytics, currently serving as a Forward Deployed AI Engineer at Datavations since June 2025, focusing on the building materials industry. Prior to this role, Eric held significant positions at Delta Faucet Company, including Senior Director of Trade Analytics and Sales Operations, where the development of the organization's first advanced analytics team was spearheaded. Eric's career also includes a tenure at 84.51˚, leading data science projects for major clients such as Kroger and PepsiCo, and earlier roles at dunnhumby, where Eric managed client relationships and analytics projects for the Kroger Company. Eric holds a Master’s Degree in Business Analytics from the University of Cincinnati and a B.S. in Business Economics and Public Policy from Indiana University.
