Jay Steinfeld is the founder and former CEO of Global Custom Commerce, where they pioneered e-commerce in the window coverings industry, transforming a garage operation into the leading online retailer of its kind. After selling the company to Home Depot in 2014, Jay continued to lead GCC for over six years as part of Home Depot's Online Leadership Team. Currently, Jay teaches as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Rice's Graduate School of Business, while also serving on multiple boards, including the Greater Houston Community Foundation and Datavations. An accomplished author, Jay's work includes the WSJ Best Seller "Lead From the Core: The 4 Principles for Profit and Prosperity," and they are a sought-after speaker on topics related to corporate culture and scaling startups. Jay has received numerous awards, including the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year and the Houston Technology Center's Lifetime Achievement Award.
