Ming Qi

Ming Qi is a software engineer at DataVisor. Ming previously worked as a graduate assistant at Carnegie Mellon University from January 2015 to December 2015 and as a research assistant at Tsinghua University from September 2013 to June 2014. At Tsinghua University, they developed an enhancement program (RWCap_gds2cap) for the RWCap program set. This program converts the industry-standard GDS-II layout data of circuit design to the inherent input format (".cap3d" file) of RWCap solver. RWCap is a fast 3D capacitance extraction solver for interconnect wires in VLSI circuit.

Ming Qi has a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.

Ming Qi works with Yongxin Xi - Security Data Scientist, Danjie Wenren - Data Scientist, and Tian Li - Site Reliability Engineer. Ming Qi reports to Caiwei Li, CTO.
