William Thornton

William Thornton is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, and technology risk management. They have held multiple C-level roles, including Vice President at both E*TRADE Financial Corporation and Discover Financial Services, where they managed cybersecurity and technology risk. Thornton's military career includes the rank of Brigadier General in the United States Air Force, where they commanded various test flight operations and served as Chief of Staff for the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Currently, Thornton is the Chief Information Security Officer at DataVisor, where they develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to ensure data integrity and compliance. They also earned a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University.
