Nils Gehlenborg

Nils Gehlenborg is currently an Associate Professor of Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School, where they also lead the Humans in Data Integration, Visualization, and Exploration (HIDIVE) Lab. Their past roles include Director of the Biomedical Informatics and Data Science Research Training Program and Assistant Professor in the same department. Nils earned a PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of Cambridge and has extensive experience in developing computational tools to enhance the interpretation of biomedical data. They previously worked at the Institute for Systems Biology and the Broad Institute, focusing on interdisciplinary collaboration to improve data visualization and analysis methods. Nils co-founded datavisyn GmbH, which develops data visualization solutions for the pharmaceutical and biomedical fields.
