Costas Malamas

Costas Malamas has a long and varied career in the technology industry. Costas began their career in 1996 as a Lieutenant (Reserve) in the Greek Army Air Corps. In 1999, they joined Retek Inc as a Senior Consultant. In 2003, they became a Partner & Principal Consultant and Co-Founder & Managing Partner at Veltio, where they were responsible for expanding the business to serve North and South America, Western and Eastern Europe and the Middle East and become one of the largest retail planning and supply chain practices world-wide. Costas was also responsible for new product and offer development across the portfolio, including R&D and delivery of AI/ML technologies. In 2016, they became a Board Member at TechSaloniki. Most recently, in 2020, they founded and became the CEO of Dataviva.

Costas Malamas obtained their BSc in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 1991 and 1995. Costas then went on to Stanford University where they completed an MSc in Aeronautics and Astronautics in 1996.
