Maro Turner

Maro Turner is an accomplished executive in project development with a robust background in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Executive Manager of Project Development at DataVolt since October 2023, Maro previously held the position of Manager of Project Development at AMEA Power from December 2020 to October 2023, achieving significant milestones including securing the company's first project in South Africa and leading the technical workstreams for the financial close of a solar PV project in Tunisia. Maro's career also includes experience as a Senior Technical Associate at AMEA Power and as a Solar & Wind Energy Consultant at 3E. Earlier professional experience involves working as a Design Engineer at Sustainable Power Solutions. Maro holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stellenbosch University.
