Ben Shapiro

Ben Shapiro has a diverse work experience spanning from 1994 to the present. Ben is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Dataweavers since March 2017. Ben also serves as a Non Executive Director at Rightscale Group since July 2020 and at Triggerfish since 2017. In their previous roles, they worked as a Professional EOS® Implementer at Ben Shapiro | Professional Leadership Facilitator from March 2017 to September 2021. Ben worked at Dentsu Aegis Network from 2014 to 2017, serving as the Group Commercial Director - isobar and later as the Managing Director - Vivid Group. Prior to that, they held various positions at OBS, including Director of Sales & Marketing, General Manager Cloud & Managed Services, and Sales Director - Northern Region. Ben also worked as a Client Executive at Fujitsu Australia Limited and as a Practice Director at Avanade Australia. Additionally, they have experience as the CEO & Founder of DCG - ebusiness innovation from 1994 to 2003.

Ben Shapiro's education history includes a range of academic achievements. In 1991, they attended Griffith University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management. Ben completed the program in 1994. Later, from 2003 to 2005, Shapiro attended QUT (Queensland University of Technology) and obtained a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration. In 2005, they enrolled at the Australian Institute of Company Directors and earned a GAICD in Corporate Governance. Subsequently, Shapiro pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at the Australian Institute of Business from 2010 to 2012. In 2020, they also became a member of the Entrepreneurs' Organization.
