Dung Tran

Dung (Ivy) Tran is currently a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at DataXight, having previously served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Ivy holds a PhD in Agricultural and Horticultural Plant Breeding from the University of Georgia, where significant research focused on QTL mapping and microbiome studies. With published works including three journal articles and multiple book chapters, Ivy has garnered ten research awards and two accolades for science storytelling. Ivy is proficient in R and has skills in Python, SAS, JMP, TIBCO Spotfire, and SQL, while continuously expanding expertise in biostatistics and machine learning through courses at Harvard University.
