Stijn Hurkmans

Stijn Hurkmans has a strong background in finance and consulting. Stijn currently holds the position of Business Controller at Datenna, starting in 2023. Prior to this, Stijn worked at EY from 2020 to 2023, where they served as a Senior Consultant in CFO Consulting. Before that, they held the role of Consultant in CFO Consulting at EY from 2020 to 2021. Stijn gained experience as an Analyst at Eindhoven Corporate Finance Group BV from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, they had roles in various committees at Asset | Economics from 2017 to 2019 and they worked as Finance and External Relations at Team FAST from 2016 to 2017. Stijn also worked as an Assistant at RSW Accountants & Tax Advisors from 2016 to 2017 and had internships at Deloitte Nederland in 2016 and 2015, where they gained experience in Audit & Assurance.

Stijn Hurkmans started their education journey at Elementary School from 1999 to 2007. Stijn then attended Highschool Dokter Knippenbergcollege from 2007 to 2013, where they pursued an Atheneum (VWO) degree with a focus on the economic profile, physics, ICT, and mathematics B.

Following their high school education, Stijn enrolled at Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained an HBO Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Stijn further pursued their academic career at Tilburg University in 2017, completing a Pre-master's degree in Accountancy.

Continuing their studies at Tilburg University, Stijn embarked on a Master of Science (MSc) program in Accountancy (CFA) between 2018 and 2019. Subsequently, from 2019 to 2020, they pursued another MSc degree at Tilburg University, this time specializing in Data-Science and Society.
