Asish Sahoo

Asish Sahoo began their career in 2014 as a Summer Intern at IIT Guwahati, where they were involved in a project entitled 'Ergonomics design and development of agricultural equipment for hilly area agriculture'. Asish also completed a one month training on Computer-Aided Design using CATIA software, as well as a one month training on Computer-Aided Engineering using ANSYS software. Asish then took on a Summer Trainee role at AUTONEXT.

In 2016, Asish Sahoo joined Phoenix Robotix Pvt Ltd as a Product Designer. In this role, they were responsible for Concept Design to CAD to Design for Manufacturing of Air Quality Monitoring Devices, as well as the design of different visual materials required for Marketing like Spec-sheets, Brochures, Solution documents, etc. and UI/UX Design of different Industrial IoT Solutions.

In 2021, Asish Sahoo became Co-founder & Chief Product Officer at DATOMS. In this role, they are responsible for the “why” of the product and what to build next that are aligned with the company's overarching vision. Asish is also deeply understanding the customer's problems, needs, and desires and subsequently building the best possible experiences for the customer, as well as defining the metrics related to product performance and tracking them on an ongoing basis.

Asish Sahoo has an educational history that spans from 2010 to the present. In 2010-2012, they attended DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, where they obtained their 12th degree in Physics Chemistry Math Biology. From 2012 to 2016, they attended the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Industrial Design. Additionally, Asish Sahoo has obtained various certifications from The Interaction Design Foundation and LinkedIn since 2020, including Design Thinking, UX Designer from Scratch, Product Management: Building a Product Roadmap, and more.
