Mitchell Wein has a diverse and extensive work experience. Mitchell started their career as a Systems Manager at Bankers Trust (now Deutsche Bank) in 1983. Mitchell later joined Prudential Financial as a Project Manager & Business Systems Analyst, primarily working on compliance with insider trading regulations. Additionally, they worked at Maritime Overseas Corporation as a Systems Analyst, focusing on developing integrated Treasury processes.
Moving forward, Mitchell Wein joined Bankers Trust again, where they served as a VP-Senior Technologist. Mitchell'sresponsibilities included translating business needs into technological approaches and overseeing the development of systems solutions.
In 1996, Mitchell Wein joined AIG, taking on roles such as Senior Business Systems Officer and VP & Divisional CTO. Mitchell managed large budgets, led teams, and had offshore development centers. Following their time at AIG, they worked at AXA US as SVP & Chief Technology Officer, overseeing various technology-related functions and leading strategic planning efforts.
Subsequently, Mitchell Wein joined AXA UK as Chief Technology Architect and Head of CTO, responsible for setting technology architecture strategies and driving operational best practices. Mitchell later served as the Interim Chief Information Officer at AXA Insurance Ireland.
Mitchell'smost recent position was at Datos Insights, where they held multiple roles, including Executive Principal. In this capacity, they provided direct consultation to senior executives, led workshop sessions, and facilitated conversations between CIOs.
Throughout their career, Mitchell Wein has demonstrated expertise in technology strategy, consulting, architecture, and managing large teams and budgets.
Mitchell Wein obtained an MBA in Information Systems from Fordham Gabelli School of Business from 1987 to 1989. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Fordham University between 1979 and 1983. Before entering college, they attended Lincoln High School from 1975 to 1979 and achieved a Regents degree.
