Jacob Smith

Jacob Smith is a seasoned professional in digital infrastructure and internet marketing, currently serving as Co-Founder and Head of GTM at Datum. With a rich background that includes co-founding the digital infrastructure startup Packet, which was acquired by Equinix in 2020, Jacob has significantly contributed to the integration and growth of Equinix Metal. As a former musician and board member for various organizations, including Groundworks Collaborative and Marlboro Music Festival, Jacob combines a passion for the arts with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. They hold a BFA in Music, Business, and English Literature from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master's in Bassoon Performance from Temple University.
