Africa has the people. Now it needs the data.

Datum Africa is an open data movement committed to unlocking, curating, and connecting Africa’s public datasets for everyone.

From government portals and academic research to community-level insights, our mission is simple:

Collect, clean, and share 10 million African datasets in 10 years.

- We build intelligent AI agents (like Agent Tia) that discover and catalogue hard-to-find African data
- We enable anyone to upload open datasets, ensuring decentralised contribution
- We support researchers, journalists, NGOs, developers, and policymakers with data access
- We grow a powerful community of data contributors and knowledge sharers

Whether you're trying to solve agricultural inefficiencies, build AI models, or shape public policy, we’re creating the data infrastructure to make it possible.

We envision an Africa where data is open, findable, and powerfully used to shape the continent’s future.
