Nick Kratkiewicz, P.E., is an accomplished Associate and Project Engineer at Datum Engineers with a robust background in civil engineering. Since joining the firm in June 2016, Nick has led the successful delivery of construction documents for major projects, including a $25+ million parking garage, and has become the office expert in post-tensioned flat-plate concrete design. Prior to this role, Nick served as a Graduate Engineer, overseeing design and construction processes for projects exceeding $75 million and pioneering the use of FEM software for high-rise structures. Education includes both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Nick's comprehensive experience encompasses various intern positions, where skills in structural design, project coordination, and effective communication with contractors were developed.

Datum Engineers, founded in 1937, is a Texas-based firm devoted exclusively to the practice of structural engineering. Datum serves a client base of corporate, institutional, public and private development owners and architectural firms primarily in Texas but across the United States as well.
