Van Cuong Bui has a diverse work experience starting from 2003 as a Business Owner at a Mobile Service Shop. Van Cuong then worked as a Technical Engineer at Technology Transfer Group (TT-Group) from 2006 to 2009. Following that, they served as a Senior Network Operation Engineer at GTEL Mobile from 2009 to 2014. In 2017, they pursued their Master of Science (Network System) at Swinburne University of Technology, where they later became a PhD Candidate. During their time at Swinburne, they also worked as a Sessional Teaching and Researching Staff, tutoring in various subjects and participating in projects related to networking, data privacy, and blockchain-based electronic invoice. In 2019, Van Cuong Bui co-founded DAT TECHNOLOGIES PTY LTD, where they mainly focused on applying big data analytical and artificial intelligence algorithm in the financial market. Van Cuong also became a Fund Manager for Prime Value DAT AI Equity Fund. In the same year, they founded DATX Vietnam, where they worked on blockchain-based electronic invoice and signing, and applied big data analytical and AI algorithm in the Vietnam financial market. In 2021, they founded DATX TECHNOLOGIES and took on the role of CTO. Van Cuong recently started working as a Blockchain Architect at Federation University Australia in 2021.
Van Cuong Bui earned a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology in the period between 1998 and 2003. Later, from 2017 to 2018, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Network Systems from Swinburne University of Technology. Additionally, Van Cuong Bui obtained several certifications, including CCNA Routing and Switching from Cisco in July 2017, and various certifications related to telecommunications and network systems from Huawei Technologies and Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise between 2009 and 2010.
