Catherine A. Bowker is an experienced culinary professional and business owner, currently serving as Assistant Kitchen Manager and Corporate Catering Chef at Datz since July 2012. Catherine has also held the position of Sous Chef at the same establishment. Prior to Datz, Catherine was the President of Indulge Personal Chefs and Event Planning from June 2010 to October 2013, and served as President of Cook's Club of Tampa Bay at the Art Institute of Tampa from December 2010 to December 2012. Catherine completed a Bachelor's degree in Culinary Management at The Art Institutes and the Art Institute of Tampa from 2009 to 2012, along with an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Hillsborough Community College between 1998 and 2000.

Datz

Datz is an American gastropub and market in South Tampa, FL that specializes in elevated comfort food favorites like mac-and cheese stuffed meatloaf, chicken and waffles, and poutine. All are served with ample sides of culinary education and fun in a spirited, ever-evolving environment. Datz uses only premium ingredients and all breads and pastries are baked on premises. The menu also features a generous selection of boutique spirits, craft beer and American wine. Datz serves breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Friday; brunch, lunch and dinner on Saturday, and brunch on Sunday. Datz is also home to specialty foods market that boasts a unique selection of preserves, picked goods, sauces, cocktail fixings, confections and more. In February 2013 Datz expanded and upgraded its catering operation by creating Dazzle, the Datz catering and events division. Dazzle specializes in creating truly opulent events with customized menus. In April 2013 Datz opened a bakery, Dough, in the building directly adjacent to its own on S. MacDill Avenue. Since opening, it has been a staple in the Tampa Bay Area for its delectable treats and whimsical decor reminiscent of an Alice In Wonderland movie. You might have seen its delicious desserts featured on such outlets as The Cooking Channel, Netflix, MTV.com, Food Network Canada, and FYI. Seven days a week, the shelves at Dough are stocked with a delicious rotation of masterpieces: raised, glazed, twisted, and puffed. In June of 2019, Datz opened its second set of doors in the lively, beach-centric town of St. Petersburg, FL; bringing its beloved items, such as the Cheesy Todd and the Porkfection, across Tampa Bay. Most recently, Datz opened its third location in Winthrop Town Centre in Riverview, FL in May of 2020.
