Music has been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. From my earliest piano lessons, I discovered that music connects, inspires, and brings joy - not only to those who make it, but to everyone around them. Over time, I’ve come to see music not just as an art form, but as a way of life: one that invites us to listen deeply, grow continually, and share creativity generously with others.

For over twenty years, I’ve taught students of all ages and stages, helping them explore creativity and develop a personal relationship with music. I teach flute, piano, and singing, focusing on confidence, imagination, and enjoyment rather than exams alone. Every lesson is tailored to the individual, encouraging curiosity, reflection, and self-expression.

Alongside teaching, I mentor other instrumental and singing teachers. I provide a space for reflection and support, helping them nurture creativity and confidence in their students while rediscovering joy in their own practice.

Composing, arranging, writing, and research also form key parts of my work. I have over 100 published compositions performed worldwide, and my writing has appeared in Music Teacher, Piano Professional, and the British Journal of Music Education. My PhD (Royal College of Music, 2020) explored autonomy and control in private music teaching, and I continue to draw on research to inform practical teaching and mentoring at the grassroots level.

Beyond music, I write and create around slow, simple, and seasonal living at A Life More Creative and Rediscover · Reconnect · Re-Emerge, reflecting my belief in the power of creativity, reflection, and connection to enrich everyday life.
