Justin Hanney

Hanney has been a Board Member of Save the Children Australia since 2019 and previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer for the City of Melbourne from January 2019 to December 2022. Prior experience includes leadership roles in the Victorian Government across various departments, such as Head of Economic Development, Employment & Innovation, and Deputy Secretary positions in the Department of Premier and Cabinet and the Department of State Development, Business and Innovation. Hanney's extensive background encompasses responsibilities for investment attraction, trade, and regional development, along with previous roles as CEO in several local government entities from 2002 to 2008.
