Satheesh K

Satheesh K has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Satheesh currently serves as the Head of Finance at Davinta since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Hinduja Leyland Finance from June 2018 until March 2023, where they held the positions of Deputy Vice President, Treasury, and Fund Raising, as well as Head, Corporate Strategy and Business Planning.

Satheesh was responsible for managing a large debt book and mobilizing funds for the company. Satheesh also played a key role in designing and implementing the company's long-term corporate strategy, working closely with senior management on various initiatives.

Before joining Hinduja Leyland Finance, Satheesh worked as a Senior Manager, Strategy and Business Development at Tata International Limited from 2016 to 2017, focusing on strategic planning for the Distribution vertical. Prior to that, they served as a Business Development Principal, Payments at Xerox from 2015 to 2016, and as an Analyst at HSBC Global Banking and Markets from 2010 to 2015, covering companies in the shipping and logistics sector.

In addition, Satheesh gained valuable experience during their summer internship at SBI Capital Markets in 2009 and worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Evalueserve from 2006 to 2008. Satheesh started their career as a Trainee at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, where they worked in the Aircraft Research and Design Centre for a brief period in 2005.

Furthermore, Satheesh gained early experience as a Summer Trainee at Sundram Fasteners Limited in 2004, where they worked during college. Overall, Satheesh has developed a strong skill set in finance, strategy, business development, and analytical research throughout their career.

Satheesh K attended Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical. Later on, in 2008 to 2009, they joined the Asian Institute of Management and obtained an MBA with a specialization in Finance and Strategy.
