JP Smith has extensive work experience in project management and fuels operations. JP began their career in 1993 with the United States Air Force, where they served as the Fuels Operations Section Chief until July 2020. In May 2017, they were promoted to the position of Fuels Superintendent, a role they held until July 2020. In July 2020, Smith joined DAWSON as a Project Manager, where they are currently employed.
JP Smith's education history starts with obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Campbell University between the years 2008 and 2010. They also pursued further education at the Community College of the Air Force, specializing in Logistics Management and earning an Applied Science degree. Moving forward, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a field of study in Project Management from Columbia Southern University, studying between 2017 and 2019. In addition to their formal education, JP Smith has obtained several certifications including J10 from the Defense Logistics Agency in March 2019, Construction Quality Management from the US Army Corps of Engineers in September 2016, J20 from the Defense Logistics Agency in December 2012, Fuels Inventory and Accounting from the United States Air Force in March 2008, and Fuels Quality Control also from the United States Air Force in March 1997.
