Marcus Bowers has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marcus is currently working as a Project Manager and Senior Management Analyst at DAWSON since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Staff Sergeant in the Army National Guard starting from September 1996. From July 2021 to May 2022, Marcus worked as a Senior Exercise Planner at OBXtek. Earlier in their educational journey, Marcus pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Music Theory from Queens College, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Marcus began their undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University, majoring in Music Performance and obtaining a Bachelor of Music (BM) degree in 2003.

In addition to their academic achievements, Marcus has acquired two certifications. In 2019, they received training as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from CALIBRE Systems, Inc. Furthermore, Marcus obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2022.
