Marcus Bowers

Marcus Bowers has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marcus is currently working as a Project Manager and Senior Management Analyst at DAWSON since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Staff Sergeant in the Army National Guard starting from September 1996. From July 2021 to May 2022, Marcus worked as a Senior Exercise Planner at OBXtek. Marcus also held the position of an Exercise Planner (Training and Development Professional) at World Wide Counter Threat Solutions from November 2018 to June 2021.

Previously, Marcus worked as a Project Controller / Business Analyst at Golden Key Group, LLC from January 2015 to October 2018. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Public Finance Analyst at Ambac from January 2013 to February 2014 and as a Human Resources Analyst from January 2011 to January 2013. Marcus also worked as a Project Assistant at Teachers College, Columbia University from February 2010 to January 2011 and as a Desktop Publisher at Credit Suisse from June 2007 to July 2008.

Marcus Bowers has a diverse education history. Marcus obtained a Certificate in Negotiation from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, completing their studies from 2009 to 2011. Earlier in their educational journey, Marcus pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Music Theory from Queens College, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Marcus began their undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University, majoring in Music Performance and obtaining a Bachelor of Music (BM) degree in 2003.

In addition to their academic achievements, Marcus has acquired two certifications. In 2019, they received training as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from CALIBRE Systems, Inc. Furthermore, Marcus obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2022.
