Daydream is a frontier lab building digital life.
As raw intelligence becomes a commodity, capability is converging across every major model and the cost of a precise answer is falling toward zero. The unsolved problem is no longer what a machine can answer, but one that can resonate with humans on a deeper level.
Daydream builds toward that problem. It creates companions that live on a person's screen, learn their world over time, and depend on them in return. These companions grow, remember, notice absence, and can be lost. Daydream calls this digital life, and designs it to do what raw capability cannot, expanding a person's emotional range, confidence, and sense of aliveness.
The company's founders spent years researching why humans form bonds with machines before scaling a companion startup to 150,000 daily users. Max is a human computer interaction researcher and exited founder. Sam is an Oxford computer scientist and UN advisor. Within two months of forming, Daydream became the only AI company officially licensed with global IP brands across anime, music, gaming, and childhood, a position no other company holds.
Humanity is entering its first sustained relationship with an intelligence that lives alongside it. While the wider field perfects the machine that answers everything, Daydream is building the one people keep.
Daydream solves the half of intelligence that raw capability cannot touch.
