Robert Dresen has a strong and diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Robert is currently serving as the Marketing Director at Dayes, where they lead and builds the marketing organization and drives the sustainability agenda. In their previous role as the Marketing Director Europe & Head of Global Brands at Dorel Juvenile, they led the European marketing organization and represented the full marketing discipline in the European Leadership Team. Prior to that, Robert worked as the Director of Digital Marketing & Strategy at MAGOXX Board, where they launched and promoted their unique fireproof magnesium oxide board for new constructions and renovation projects. Robert also has extensive experience at Unilever, where they held various roles including Sr. Category Director Skin Care Europe, Marketing Director Skin NL, Marketing Manager Hair & Skin NL, and Marketing Manager Hair Benelux. Before their time at Unilever, Robert served as the Marketing Manager at Bel, where they led the marketing team and played a pivotal role in the acquisition of Boursin from Unilever. Robert also worked at Leaf Holland BV as the Brand Manager for Venco and held positions as a Production Controller and Business Analyst. Robert began their career as a Management Trainee at Kendrion NV. Throughout their career, Robert has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns and driving business growth.
Robert Dresen began their educational journey in 1991 at Eindhoven University of Technology, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering & Management Science. Robert successfully completed their studies in 1997. Throughout their career, Robert has also obtained several additional certifications. In 2001, they completed the course "Microsoft Excel for Controllers" at PAT Learning Solutions. In 2010, they obtained the "Advanced Nitro" certification from Nielsen. More recently, in 2020, Robert acquired two certificates. The first is "Google Analytics for beginners" from Google Digital Academy (Skillshop), and the second is "Basic principles of Online Marketing" from Google Digital Garage.
