Scott Carlton has worked in a variety of roles throughout their career. Scott began their career in 1994 as a Marine Security Guard with the United States Marine Corps. In 2000, they worked as a Patrol Officer at the Phoenix Police Department. In 2007, they transitioned to Graphic Designer at Vitality Health & Fitness. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Freelance Designer and Web Developer, specializing in brand identity, flyers, brochures, website design, and development, as well as photography. In 2013, they began working as a Front-End Developer at JK Design, where they implemented a UX process within an agile workflow and designed and developed the front-end experience for web and mobile applications. In 2015, they worked as a Front End Developer at Aptexx, Inc. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as a Senior UX Engineer at Rindle. Currently, they are employed as a UX/Front-End Developer at SitusAMC, and they are set to begin working as a Software Developer at Dayforward in 2022.
Scott Carlton received their Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institutes in 2002. In December 2020, they obtained four certifications from the Mountain Rescue Association: General Backcountry Safety, Psychological First Aid, Risks in Mountain Rescue Operations, and Situational Awareness in Search and Rescue.
